My community and professional service activities have for years been focused on equity and inclusion. My personal goal is to ensure equal opportunities for all students, with appropriate accommodations and focus on universal design for learning.

  • Member of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee in St. Joseph Catholic School 2021-2022

  • Leading workshops on shared writing with individuals with complex communication needs using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), Camp Pom, Minden, 2018 and 2022

  • Supporting other parents and families in advocacy for their disabled children’s inclusion in education
